About Jackie Coors

*Transitioned from a 15-year career in the real estate industry into the field of mental health; finds abundant meaning in the work of therapy and counts it an honor and privilege to join clients on their sacred journeys towards healing and wellness.

*Trained Sex Therapist through Sexual Health Alliance, a rigorous program that demands clinical experience in treating a wide variety of issues related to gender and sexuality, supplemental conferences/workshops, and ongoing supervision. Traveled to Amsterdam in 2021 for intensive training/study program taught by world-renowned sex researcher, Dr. Justin Lehmiller.

*Trained Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist through Integrative Psychiatry Institute (Ketamine, Psilocybin, MDMA) and MAPS PBC (MDMA). Both are intensive programs that train licensed therapists (and psychiatrists, M.D.'s) to provide Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy utilizing Ketamine (not a classic psychedelic), Psilocybin, and MDMA for issues such as treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, PTSD, among others.

*Member of professional associations AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) and AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists).

*Graduated with honors and earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy degree from COAMFTE-accredited Regis University, Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions Division of Counseling and Family Therapy, Department of Couples and Family Therapy. 

*Completed internship at Denver Counseling Solutions and Colorado Counseling Solutions, and Practicum at Regis Center for Counseling and Family Therapy.

*Former 2-sport collegiate athlete, present telemark/backcountry skier and single speed mountain biker, equal opportunity adrenaline and endorphin junkie.
